In reply to Kasey. Hi Kasey! Older post or not, I'm still here! I love talking about this stuff further so please don't apologize :) Yes, it's definitely on the wetter side and needs to be set with a powder. I use a few different powders depending on my mood, ha, but my favorites are RCMA no color powder for translucent setting, Benefit Hello Flawless Powder for extra extra major flawless full coverage, and Rimmel Stay Matte powder for all around solid setting powder although with a more matte foundation this powder can look reeeally dry. I've had that issue too with foundations breaking up around my nose because I get so oily there, and honestly the best thing I've found to help with going all day without touching up is using a foundation primer and setting spray. I like Benefit Porefessional or Smashbox Photo Finish for primer, and Urban Decay All Nighter for setting spray. Hi Amy – I apologize for commenting on an older entry but here goes. I, too, use Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation and I adore it from the moment I put it on my face to when I’m heading out of the door for work. It works so well to cover flaws that I barely have to use any concealer. My skin looks awesome for the first half of the day. My question is what setting powder do you use, if any? By about noon each day my foundation begins to “bunch up” on the sides of my nose and then it starts to breakdown between my eye brows and chin. So annoying! I use a mattifying powder (Neutrogena) but I can’t tell if it’s my powder screwing me over or the foundation itself. The foundation is quite dewy (“wet” to me) if I don’t put on any powder so it’s tough to tell. Just thought I’d check the skills/secrets of a fellow user. :)
