So I am really REALLY picky about lighting (probably comes from having grown up with migraines). I hate CFL bulbs with a passion but a friend of mine works for Cree (another company that does LED bulbs) and was involved in the bulb design and I really wanted to give them a try for his sake and for the environment of course. I definitely don’t like the daylight ones, but I’m hooked on the warmer light ones! Our bedroom connects to our kitchen and we replaced the bulb in the kitchen only. At first the difference was really noticeable and drove me crazy, but now I’m used to it and even prefer it. The kitchen bulb is much brighter and has made cooking easier (go figure). So this was a long paragraph to say–thank you for sharing more info about these great bulbs! ;) xoxo

I know what you mean about the very blue ones. I tried that once and it was heinous, I definitely don’t like going too blue!

The government here in Australia subsidised the switch to LEDs, so we were able to get all ours switched over for free! It was awesome! The lights are so bright and lovely.
