That was the problem with our previous upholstered bed fail, though it was velvet so it was extra dust magnet-y! Good point on the housework. I’ve noticed my steps towards minimalism have definitely eased up the housework!

Ah, thanks for seconding the Wyatt! And I feel the same, maybe the idea of a bed feels more “worth it” when it has a headboard?

I recently sold my upholstered bed frame (as I’m also in pursuit of a minimalist bedroom) because it didn’t fit the light and bright aesthetics and because the fabric was a dust magnet! I love the look of low profile upholstered frames, but I’ll be super picky if I ever buy one again. My goal with minimalism is not to create more housework ;)

I love this list! I keep looking at headboard-less beds and loving them, but I just can’t bring myself to actually purchase and commit to one. I can’t quite figure out why! The Wyatt is by far my favorite too :)
