Hi Beth, I used a universal converter similar to this one. Worked great for the curling iron I brought with me.

Thank you so much, Anne! We stayed at hotels and I researched ahead of time the restaurants I wanted to go to. All the places listed in the post were my favorites, though we did go to others that I didn’t feel were worth mentioning ;)
