I’ve unintentionally started an essential oils collection due to prior soap and candle DIYs, so we gotta explore that a little more don’t you think? \u00a0Room sprays have been on my to-do list for so long, and with the soon changing season this felt like a good time to\u00a0make some summer\u00a0inspired\u00a0scents, so here are\u00a0three for you to try!\u00a0 In addition to the recipes, I’ve partnered with Canon<\/a> to bring you free printable labels to help these sit pretty on your dresser, nightstand, counter, anywhere you’d want to proudly display and use these (everywhere).<\/p>\n

\"CanonI used my PIXMA MG7720 Wireless Photo All-In-One Printer<\/a> to print the labels on these sticker adhesive sheets<\/a>. \u00a0I made two versions of the labels: black and white<\/a> and color<\/a>!<\/p>\n

\"PrintableFor the best results, use a ruler and a rotary cutter<\/a> or X-ACTO knife to cut out the stickers. \u00a0For extra best results, use a paper cutter guillotine (major wish list alert. \u00a0Only thing holding me back from getting one is I have no space for it!)<\/p>\n

For the room sprays, I referred to this guide<\/a> for the basic recipe as follows to approximately fill an 8oz bottle:<\/p>\n

1\/2 cup distilled water
\n1\/2 cup vodka or witch hazel
\n20-30 drops essential oil<\/p>\n

I tried both vodka and witch hazel hoping one would work better than the other, but they work the same, so which one to use is only a matter of your preference. \u00a0The alcohol helps the oil and water mix, though some beading will still occur. \u00a0Mix the oil and alcohol in a bowl first before adding water for slightly better results!<\/p>\n

Regarding the essential oil blends,\u00a0I’m not at all a pro and believe\u00a0this is about\u00a0experimentation so I highly encourage you to play with combos and ratios. \u00a0I felt like a potions master wannabe dropping this and that here and there, and these were my favorite summery scents.<\/p>\n

Sandalwood Rose\u00a0<\/strong>(romance alert)
\n15 drops sandalwood essential oil
\n15 drops rose essential oil<\/p>\n

\"DIY<\/p>\n

Citrus Blend <\/strong>(sweet and fruity)
\n<\/strong>4 drops grapefruit essential oil
\n4 drops lemon essential oil
\n4 drops lime essential oil
\n8 drops orange essential oil<\/p>\n

Green Tea Cucumber <\/strong>(very clean and fresh)
\n30 drops green tea cucumber essential oil<\/a><\/p>\n

This one is my favorite and just so happens to be the easiest, so\u00a0I like it even more.<\/p>\n

For the containers, I used these frosted glass<\/a> and clear glass spray bottles<\/a>. \u00a0I think I’m digging the frosted glass more, what about you?<\/p>\n

\"DIYI should at least mention these would make amazing favors or gifts. \u00a0I imagine them looking swell in something like a housewarming gift basket. \u00a0Just\u00a0please don’t forget to make them for yourself, ok?<\/p>\n
