\"christmas\"What a week. \u00a0It’s hard to deny that it was tough to get through. \u00a0Beyond my own stance and feelings, I felt the weight of the hurt on every side and the responsibility to remain open to understanding. \u00a0I’m still finding some things immensely hard to express, but\u00a0I also found comfort in\u00a0quiet and\u00a0welcoming\u00a0the need\u00a0to reflect and listen. \u00a0No matter what your feelings are or where you stand, I care most that\u00a0we can all provide\u00a0each other kindness and empathy.<\/p>\n

A bit weird to transition into today’s post that has\u00a0nothing to do with the previous, but in that light\u00a0I hope it provides a breather from all that’s been going on. \u00a0Some good from the week is that I’ve started decorating for my favorite holiday\u00a0(!) and am so\u00a0pumped\u00a0to share that soon.\u00a0 Today I’m headed out for a quick trip\u00a0to SF to celebrate a friend’s birthday and am feeling so grateful for the timely getaway, especially\u00a0to be with\u00a0people I love.<\/p>\n
